Why We Built This

Personalised children's books are a lovely idea, but most options ask for something tricky: a clear photo of your child, which is awkward to take and uncomfortable to hand over to an AI tool. We wanted something a parent could do in a couple of minutes, without a photo at all.

So Toonietots works from a short questionnaire instead — your child's name, age, what they look like, and something they love. That's it. No upload, no waiting for the right photo.

We also wanted it to be more than a static picture book. Every page comes with narrated voiceover, so the finished result is a video your child can actually watch and listen to — ideal for bedtime, when nobody wants to be the one reading eight pages out loud.

What We Do

Toonietots is a personalised AI storybook service. You answer a few questions about your child, choose a theme (Magical Forest, Under the Sea, Space Explorer, Bedtime Dreamland, Dinosaur Explorer, Soccer Champions, or Birthday Wonder) and an art style (Oil Painting, Pixar 3D, or Storybook Illustration), and our AI generates an 8-page illustrated storybook starring them.

Every page is narrated, and the finished storybook is delivered as a downloadable video — ready to watch on a phone, tablet, or TV.

Privacy, By Design

Because there's no photo upload, there's no photo of your child to store in the first place. Your answers are used only to generate that storybook, and a parent or guardian must confirm consent before any storybook is created.

Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Your storybook's images and audio are stored securely via Supabase.
